I believe that …
- it's impossible to write down everything I believe (and don't believe)
- it is useful to report some things here, so that you have an impression of what I believe
- God completed 'heaven and earth' in 6 days, as the Bible relates in Genesis
- the first human pair that God made sinned, making the whole human race sinners
- man has a sinful nature, so that he cannot do good things before God and falls under the judgment of God
- God sent His Son to our human world to become human. After all, this Jesus has to undergo the judgment of a holy God at the end of His life on the cross of Calvary
- “God hath openly appointed Jesus Christ as the means of atonement through faith in his blood” (Romans 3:25)
- everyone who accepts Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord takes on a new nature. This does not replace his old sinful nature, but because of this the born again man has two natures and is called to live after the new man.
- Jesus Christ has risen, ascended into heaven, and now intervenes and intercedes for those whom He has redeemed.
- Jesus Christ returns in the clouds to introduce His Church into the Father's House
- after that there will come a time of great judgments on this world, from which at the end a small part of the nation of Israel will be saved when Jesus Christ Himself visibly returns to defeat the enemies
- there will be a period of 1000 years after that during which Jesus Christ will reign from Jerusalem, and all the blessing on this earth will be through Israel. At this time, Satan will be bound and unable to exert his direct influence.
- after the 1000 years satan is released and humanity is led into a final rebellion against God. This leads to the final judgment on all who disobey God, after which the eternal state begins with a new heaven and a new earth.
In addition, I believe, among other things, that . . .
- God is a triune God with three persons God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit
- Jesus Christ, God's Eternal Son, became man and was and is both God and man
- there is a real world of satan and his demons that where satan rules over this earth and will do everything to keep man away from god and deceive
- the Bible is the Word of the living God, just as God intended it to be, even for His people today. The Scriptures are reliable, complete, and enough for God's people to know the will of God in our day.
Finally, it should be mentioned that I
- am an ordinary Christian, who has known the Lord Jesus as Savior and Lord for about half a century.
- love Him wholeheartedly, because through His work on Calvary's cross my sins are forgiven and He has reconciled me to God. I marvel that "faith" is the only key to God's salvation.
- look forward to that which is yet to come and lasts forever: God's glory in Jesus Christ!
- love the Bible because it is the only source through which I can grow in the knowledge of God.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you,
