WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT SERVING THE TRUE GOD AND IDOLATRY
About the Christian Church
How should you serve God together as believers?
There is much to be said about it, and it was (and is) my intention to put its key points—as far as I believe the Bible teaches—on this site. But in practice it is not (yet) the case. Lack of time is one reason, but there's something else, and that's that I've discovered that you can talk about 'the church', but it doesn't make much sense if we don't get a few other things clear first.
The other has to do with the work of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God. He has, as it were, founded 'the church' on the day of Pentecost. And we must first learn to see what He is doing in the individual believer before we can understand anything about how He leads the Church.
It is precisely at this point of the Spirit of God that the battle is taking place on Christian property and it seems that the last strongholds are falling in that regard. That is why we think we need to pay more attention to this in the near future.
The battle in the Christian yard is about what God's Spirit works and whether what you see and experience comes from the Holy Spirit. Or is it from another spirit? We must be able to make that distinction if we are to stand in these last days.
