The Gospel of Jesus Christ

The Gospel in a number of Bible texts.
May they exhort us to offer our sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving to God our Father and to our Lord Jesus Christ!

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.
(John 3:36)

"(...) the Gospel (...) that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures (...)" (1 Corinthians 15:3,4)

A selection of the many biblical texts that say something about the gospel:

“(…) what must I do to be saved? . . . Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you and your household shall be saved.”
(Acts 16:30,31)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not of works, that no one should boast.”
(Ephesians 2:8,9)

And it shall be that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Acts 2:21)

Of Him all the prophets testify that whoever believes in Him shall receive forgiveness of sins through His name.”
(Acts 10:43)

Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
(Romans 5:1)

(…) Close to you is the Word, in your mouth and in your heart. This is the Word of faith which we preach: If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be put to shame.”
(Romans 10:8-11)

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, how much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by His life.” (Romans 5:10)

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ lose its content. For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who perish, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”
(1 Corinthians 1:17,18)

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
(2 Corinthians 5:21)

. . . Grace to you and peace from God the Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father.”
(Galatians 1:3,4)

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life that I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
(Galatians 2:20)

“(…) to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherewith he hath made us free in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. (…)”
(Ephesians 1:6,7)

“(…) even when we were dead in trespasses, made alive with Christ—by grace you were saved— (…)“
(Ephesians 2:5)

For He is our peace, who has made both one. And by breaking down the dividing wall, He has put away the enmity in His flesh, even the law of commandments, which consisted of ordinances, that He might create the two in Himself into one new man, and thus might have peace. and that he might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, in which he slew the enmity.
(Ephesians 2:13-16)

Be imitators of God, therefore, as beloved children, and walk in love, just as Christ also loved us and gave Himself up for us as an offering and sacrifice, a pleasing odor to God.”
(Ephesians 5:1,2)

“(…) and that through him he would reconcile all things to himself, making peace through the blood of his cross, yea, through him, both the things in the earth and the things in the heavens. And He has reconciled you who were formerly alienated and hostile, as evidenced by your wicked deeds, in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and spotless and blameless before Himself. . . .” (Colossians 1:20-22)

For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.”
(1 Thessalonicenzen 5:9,10)

This is a reliable word and worthy of all acceptance that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. But therefore I was shown mercy, that in me, the chief of sinners, Jesus Christ might show all his patience, for an example to those who should believe in him afterward unto eternal life.”
(1 Timothy 1:15,16)

“(…) we wait for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Saviour, Jesus Christ. He gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all lawlessness, and purify for Himself a people of His own, zealous of good works.”
(Titus 2:13,14)

For we too were formerly foolish, disobedient, erring, enslaved to all kinds of lusts and passions, living in wickedness and envy, hateful and hating one another. But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love appeared to men, He saved us, not by works of righteousness which we had done, but by His mercy, through the washing of the new birth and the renewal by the Holy Spirit. These he poured out upon us in abundance through Jesus Christ our Saviour, that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”
(Titus 3:3-7)

For Christ also suffered once for sins, he who was just, for the unjust, that he might bring us to God. He was indeed put to death in the flesh, but made alive by the Spirit . . . ”
(1 Peter 3:18)

“(…) Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the prince of the kings of the earth. Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His blood (…)”
(Revelation 1:5)

And they sang a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us unto God with thy blood, out of every tribe, tongue, people, and nation.”
(Revelation 5:1)

“And salvation is in none other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.”
(Acts 4:12)

Jesus said: I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
(John 14:6)
